Dear SBJC Families,Please be aware that the Bergen County Health Department issued an order that all Bergen County Schools will be closed effective 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020. The South Bergen Jointure Commission will be closed Monday, March 16th and remain closed through March 27th. During this time, the New Jersey Department of Education has asked each district to continue the delivery of instruction through home-based, distance learning. Our teachers and staff have prepared hard-copy Distance Learning Packets for both academic and related service instruction for your child.
Distance Learning Packets will be available for pickup as follows:
Lodi, Prime Time and Felician Campus Students

Tuesday, March 17 8:00-12:30If you would prefer to have your student’s Distance Learning Packet emailed to you, please email your child’s homeroom teacher to submit this request. Throughout the closure, your child’s teacher will be available every day from the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. via either telephone or email. Your child’s homeroom teacher will also be checking in with you daily to provide additional guidance, check on student progress and address any questions you may have.
In addition to the activities enclosed in the Distance Learning Packets, we encourage families to also utilize the district’s online resources. All login information for these resources is included in your child’s packet. If your family does not have access to a device or the internet, please reach out to our central office at 201-393-0475. Also, if your phone number or email has recently changed, please send your updated information to your child’s building secretary.
If your child is entitled to free and reduced lunch, a “grab and go lunch” will be available at the Lodi Campus located at 123 Union Street, Lodi NJ 07644 (the back parking lot of St. Francis Church) daily between the hours of 10:30 a.m and 11:30 a.m.

The information and resources provided on our website will continue to be updated as needed and we encourage all families to check for these updates on a regular basis.
We recognize that school closures will create challenges for our families and our community, but we also recognize our responsibility to address this public health crisis. We will continue to maintain regular communication with our local public health officials, Bergen County Health Officials, the NJ Department of Education and with our learning community during the school closure.
